A Training Solution for the Foundations of Play
We are delighted to tell you about our Early Learning Labs. We have gone right back to basics. Our focus is on the ‘materials’ for play and the development of skills that can be developed engaging with them. The way we have put the training programme together ensures that educators are active participants in the learning process while they reflect on the play they share with children.
The films shows 3 young educators exploring play foundations using ONE type of material to engage our children in irresistible play.
There are two early years specialists ‘goggle boxing’ to further highlight the theoretical principles, child development processes and areas of learning.
Extend the ideas shared in the films and invite us to really evaluate the play provision we offer. Written by Alice, the book examines one of our everyday play and learning resource; challenges how, when and why we use them and how we can improve each of these.
Packed full of provoking prompts, our journal invites you to reflect and consider your own approach to play. It helps you to construct a plan for how you will use what you've learned to inform that approach going forward as well as how your ideas of that particular resource have shifted.
